You have to agree that the new 392 special car and is in a different class then a stock SS. I just dont see the SS as being a special sort of car anymore especially since any old person can go rent one at the local air port. Sure it can be modified to suit your taste but I like the exclusivity of a GT500, 392 SRT-8 and ZL1 and that is why I saved up just a little but more and went for the exclusive flagship model because that's the sort of person I am. I dont want to have to play catch up and wish I would of sprung for the higher end model and is constantly looking to put those pieces on my lower end model. All of you SS owner will soon feel the sting once you start to see ZL1's on the streets.
I agree the 392 is a very mean car and is unique as it's a limited number build for now. The SS is still kind of rare in this neck of the woods, most here prefer turbo diesel pickups, I think there may be a half dozen Camaros in the County most are LT models. The Challenger appeals to me as it has seating for 5, with three children and my Wife, taking a family cruise in the Camaro is a no go.
