Parts are still relatively cheap, the motor was pretty decent, you can drop an LS into it , and it's one of the most popular/common cars used for drag racing in the muscle car realm...

If you have an opportunity to get any of the other cars listed on here, do it....but a Fox Body can be had relatively cheap.....and they are pretty idiot proof too
Yes but the true definition of a classic muscle car is a 64-72 mid size car.

I dont think the OP was thinking fox body mustang when he posted this thread inquiring about classic muscle cars which has always been designated to 64-72 mid size cars. Sure the Fox is an affordable platform to go fast but its no classic muscle car. More like a modern classic like the Grand National.
