Mean while over at the Mustang shows there was a far younger crowd and lot and lots of attractive woman in their 20's.
I always felt jipped. Everyone figured my red/black 67 Camaro would be a chick magnet but it only attracted old and middle aged women while the Mustang and import shows had chicks galore and almost a part atmosphere.
Now days I skip the shows (older people) and show up for the dyno day's (younger people).
Just pick up a issue of Super Chevy and look at the pics of the people at their events and compare them to the event pics in MM&FF and you will see what I'm talking about.

I know what you mean, the MM meets here in Germany are usually vehicle-less women looking at the available car/man packages (most of them local German women). You can't deny it though, these new pony cars are equally popular among genders and ages. Your correct though about the 45+ age group and the S197, I don't see many of older guys owning them.
I am currently being pressured into buying a 2010 4.6 GT convertible for my wife. I personally wouldn't own a convertible but my back is against the wall here. I looked at some coupes with her and she wasn't having it, we looked at some new edge Mustang's and she said she hated the way they looked. I want to get her a Mustang but I really don't want a convertible... She is deathly afraid of my car but I cannot bring myself to buy the 4.0 V6... Kinda venting here, sorry.. This is an issue I don't really have anybody to vent with here (personally in Germany)....
