They ended up blowing the thing up while the Stig was racing Hammond with another remote control racing car. EVs can be wound to hit 60 pretty darn fast if you know what you are doing. A series wound DC motor has infinite torque at 0 RPM. In other words, it will lite them up!  |
They're 0-60 stars. So far, there hasn't been one electric vehicle, including the Tesla, that has a respectable top speed.
