The Mustang's true advantages in performance stem strictly from the 300lb weight advantage and the fact that Ford makes available various axle ratios.
I will say that despite all this the Camaro still remains the better car for me. Looks, body structure, ride, and performance all continue to make me smile.. but the absence of a BOSS fighter (come on Z28) and in the V6 line.. at least a more aggressive rear-axle ratio to push it off the line faster... seriously makes me wonder if Chevy is too focused on F/E of the V6 line
