I never thought I'd defend the Mustang, , but it's possible the "faults" you observed, re; squeaks; rattles; etc., are a result of it being a rental car. The stories I've heard of how people abuse rentals....:eek: .

That being said, having driven my sister's Mustang, (a convertible) it does have quite a bit of cowl shake, as well as a few rattles. There is just a lot less structural integrity in most 'verts compared to fixed roof vehicles.

I do agree that the rear seats are lacking. But in all honesty, when you consider the bodystyle, ('vert.), rear seat room will never accomodate the average adult. And therefore the seat "quality" suffers as well.
