Its only recently that PSN been subject to hackers, and remeber when XBL crashed for 2 weeks over the Christmas Holidays simply because people bought 360s. Here Sony is doing the right thing by identifying the problem, hireing an external secruity firm, and taking neccesary steps to protect it consumers. I really don't understand your Anti-Sony agenda they have not done anything wrong, its the Hackers thats engaging in Cyber terrisom.
There has been consistent hacking since 2007, it has just become overwhelming in recently, it hasn't just begun. A bunch of people had personal information stolen in March 2008, just like this, but a smaller number of users. The very first week Home was released, it was hacked. If you have been paying attention since the beginning, ps3 was almost completely hacked in 2006 . This is not the first, or even second time Sony has lost personal information of users to hackers. Like I said before, I don't condone the hacking and it pisses me off too, but Sony is partially responsible for the severity of the rampant hacking on PSN.
