From what I'm hearing now it is going to be possibly weeks. Amazon went down with Sony but was up in 3 days. ALL credit card info is in the hands of whoever is doing this and they can access everything from your card number to past purchases etc.. There are 1800 numbers set up if you notice any activity on your card.
Supposedly Sony is now considering making PSN a paid subscription like suckbox. THIS led me to think for a second that Sony orchestrated the whole thing as mentioned above but there are a few things that don't go with that.
1) Do you think Amazon would say "sure take down our site for a few days so you can make yourselves look like heroes and then charge for your online service without as much complaint"?!!
2) Do you really think Sony is about to try to mess with the credit card info and use it? If that is the case then something WAY scarier then and PSN bull is. If a major JAPANESE corporation is about to attempt to milk all those cards then the world is ending (or atleast America). I DO NOT believe this be the case so I'm not about to buy camping supplies like it's Y2K.
All I know is I hope these hackers go to "pound thee in the ass" prison and get gang raped because of their feminine dork hands and general weakness as real men. The fact that the credit card shit is in play just means FEDERAL whether they actually use the cards or not. They hacked the info which should be enough to prosecute federally (specially such grand scale worldwide stuff) and I hope the only button they ever tap at for the rest of their lives is Bubba's "special spot" located somewhere deep in his colon.
