Yup. The officer was in his patrol car in the parade. So the parade had no choice but to stop when he got out to 'collect' me. Riding in the back of the 'paddy wagon', I was in there with 4 guys who were SHNOKERED drunk. And talking about how they wanted to shoot cops,
I was wondering what the charges would be against me. I asked him repeatedly what the charges of my arrest were. He never told me. BUT, he also never told me I was under, or being arrested. So after a while, the stopped and let me out with a written ticket. Thank God for the crowd. I was going around to give that guy another piece of my mind when the crowd grabbed me and pulled me away. I thought I was about to get my ass beat but a few of the people that grabbed me said it ain't worth it.
They had seen it before and they knew I was gonna LOSE that fight.
Bonnie will tell you, I was worried for a while that he would retaliate somhow. He had my address and the judge embarassed him in court. And I was brand new to Alabama.
