I've been through there and probably spent some time up there as a kid but not a whole lot recently. Beautiful area ... although there a few million square kilometres of Canada that look a lot like that.

Yep. Over 90% of the population lives in less than 10% of the country. Heck, in our 3 territories there are hardly more than 100,000 people. The cover over 1/3 of the area of the country.
