Those are great prices but you have to be a member for a year.
Otherwise, you will pay around $500 or so for a new one, possibly more.
I haven't bought any 9mm ammo for the wife in a while because I started reloading it for her. The last I remember it was around $12-15 for 50... As far as a .22 goes. There are many good ones out there. You can also buy a .22 kit for a glock I believe. Go to a gun range that rents guns and try several out.
A word of advice, if you get a glock, DO NOT put an extended slide lock on it if you are going to use if for self defense. I found out the hard way that was a bad idea and it will be coming off very shortly. I was involved in an incident and I believe I bumped it up causing the slide to lock back. There is no guarantee that the regular one would not have done it but the slimmer profile minimizes the chances of it happening.

Gotcha, thanks for the advice on the slide lock. I wonder how much the discount would be, if you have to pay at least $60 for a two year membership... hoping the discount would be worth the $60 but
