I had planned on purchasing a G8 until Pontiac went belly up, which I think was a mistake. In my book, they should have sent Buick packing. I know they're trying to change Buick's image and appeal to the youngsters, but as long as their parents own a Buick, no kid is going to buy one.
Anyhow, come on GM.......bring back the G8 to America!

Oh yeah, it would've been brilliant to kill a brand with a major overseas presence that commanded high transaction prices but keep a brand that sold nothing but rebadges of existing unprofitable cars with no future.
And duh, no kid is going to buy one. No kid can AFFORD one. A 2012 LaCrosse starts at around $30k. They aren't meant to appeal to kids, they're marketed heavily towards professionals with a few years of work experience under their belts who want to upgrade from their entry-level cars.
