Put a turbo on it.. lol. I'm sure there will be several aftermarket turbos for this thing, and there is still the option of a factory turbo model, as an upgraded motor choice. (think v6 --> SS). Edit: Also, you have to keep in mind it is going to have around 200hp in NA form, and they are targeting 2700lb curb weight. This car isn't really meant to be a stoplight or drag strip terror, it is supposed to be a fun car for those curvy back roads, it IS after all a spiritual successor to the old AE86 Corolla.
@ Stew, the scion VP said in an interview that this model is the "Over the top" concept, basically what they imagine enthusiasts WOULD do in the aftermarket, bigger wheels/breaks/tires, rear diffuser.
