Last night, I was driving my wife to theater practice. As I rolled up to the intersection to the highway that runs through town, I see a buddy of mine in his '08 Hemi Ram. He pulls onto the highway in the oncoming lane and waves me up. Down goes the window "So, what's that car got?" As I was contemplating smoking him and making him look like a tool in front of his girlfriend, I looked in my rearview and there they were. Not just one cruiser, but two, pulling out of the coffee shop coming up on my ass. I yelled back "A lot more than your truck kid, besides there's a cop behind us." He looks in his rearview and by the look on his face he almost shat himself.
I just continued on my way.
On my way back, I seen him again stopped on the street. I let him know that he'd get smoked (his truck was lifted, with 35" mudders, extended cab) and that next time if he actually did want to race, that he shouldn't be tryin me on the highway in the middle of town. It was then that he asked the hp of my Camaro. I told him 400, and he just rolled off. Kids...
