It even hypnotized me ... I couldn't look away the entire time! Seriously though ... uspension of disbelief is one thing ... this is on a whole 'nother level.

Pro wresting is scripted entertainment, just like almost anything else on TV or in the movies, especially the movies actually. Why is it so horrible for it to be fake when other shows, such as 24 (which when you think about it, is far more fake than pro-wresting) get a free pass? Even 'reality TV' isn't really real. If it isn't populated by a cast of actors, at the very least the drama is amped up due to editing. But again, nobody really cares. Heck, some of the programing on 24 hour cable news networks is fake to some degree. Lets be honest here, overtly partisan commentators aren't being any less disingenuous when they spout off their rhetoric than Stone Cold is when he's telling off his boss in the middle of the ring. Its all an act and they both do it because it gets a good reaction from their fans. Although, I bet more adults believe what those partisan commentators are saying than they do with what pro-wrestlers say ... which is a pretty scary idea when you think about it.
