I'm just pointing out the irony in it.
To me, it just sends the wrong message when NONE of the 6 main Task Force members drives a car from one of the U.S. automakers, and only 3 of the 12 auxilliary members do. 3 out of the 18-member Task Force drive a car from one of the Big Three.
It's very similar to when the Big Three CEOs went to Washington begging for bailout money -- in LUXURY JETS!!! You can't make it up... The reaction of the committee members and senators was so negative to their arrogance, that they didn't make the same mistake on their next trip, and the second time they came to Washington, they drove -- in U.S. hybrid cars.
This import-loving Task Force may very well do the job, and I'm sure every single person who enjoys this forum wishes them success. But they have already rubbed me the wrong way before they have even started.
