You guys are funny, you act like a set of drag radial's would somehow break the new owners bank. They have all sorts of tire options from mild to wild that can plant the power on its 20x10 forged Alcoa's. The problem isn't the car or having 800hp its the crappy Goodyears.
The first mod I bought for my GT500 was a set of rear drag radials and to be honest sticky drag radials would be my first mod if I owned a Cobalt SS, Camaro SS, or even a GT. Even a 200hp car could greatly benefit from drag radials and easily pick up a half a second at the track. I don't understand why everybody gets so hung up on the fact that a 500-800hp factory Ford Mustang cant hook up on its factory tires with the traction control off in the lower gears.
