Well, that depends on the interest rate that you get. But basically, financing just south of $26,000 for 5 years at 6.5% will get you a $500 a month payment. $29,900 at 5 years at 0% will also get you around $500 a month. So it looks like you are going to need between $12,000 and $15,000 down. BTW, there are lots of sites like
this to try out different calculations.
