Ok good, i was afraid that some idiots were giving us mustang owners a bad name. I leave all the "bad name" reps to all the Camaro Guys who had about 10 months of "Camaro SS's will murder all mustangs" and "Even a V6 Camaro can beat a Mustang GT" back in 10.

We should never stoop to that level my friend, even if the advantage of the 10 camaro over the 10 mustang was much greater than the advantage of the 11 mustang over the 11 camaro....we should STILL never stoop to their level. LOL

Besides, on the topic of "smooth ride", the SS i drove was much smoother a ride (like a cadilliac) compared to either my 10 or my 11.
The 3.73 is too much gear on stock tires and it puts you in the position where you may have to shift into fifth right before the 1320 marker. The fastest manual cars have been 3.31s, but overall fastest 5.0s have been the autos with the 3.15. With a drag radial I'd be willing to bet it would turn out a bit differently. More gear isn't always better.
