Seems to be a big lack of knowledge about the trailblazer...and in reference to Master Muscle, I've had both a JCG SRT8 and TBSS (had both at the same time)...The TBSS is the more complete vehicle. The jeeps mpg was horrific even if you drove it slow, with my wife driving it, it was 13mpg average at best. When I drove it it would drop into the 12's. The interior is not as roomy, nor is the rear. I DO like the seats in the SRT8 better. Frankly if the Camaro seats end up being awesome, I'm gonna get 2 extra and replace my front TBSS seats.
In stock form the TBSS is OK. But most all of the LS2 mods from other platforms transfer over to the TBSS, and there are a few unique mods just for it. The 2wd version is significantly faster than the AWD, however, without AWD, it becomes a "3 seasons" vehicle...400 hp and snow and ice just don't mix.
FYI, there is a trailblazer than ran low 9's at over 140 mph, it was built by RPM in garner, nc.
People have road raced and AuotX'd their TBSS....(sway bars, custom A arms, coilovers, adjustable UCA, LCA, & Panhard are available)...so the suspension has the capability to be significantly better than stock. With those mods and upgraded wheels/tires, over 0.9g on a skidpad is realistic.
Currently my TBSS runs low 12's....that's with NO nitrous, NO blower, NO race gas, NO major weight removal...stock shortblock, NA...and mines AWD, so it is pushing 5000lb. You can't name too many vehicles, that can be daily driven, in a blowing snow storm, while hauling a truckload of stuff, plus adult passengers, while still capable of a 12 second ET, especially for this kind of money. Yeah, you could buy nearly 4 brand new TBSS for the price of that Porsche.

Here is some stuff you might want to see.

There are H/C 2wd in the 11's. There are NOS trucks in the 10's. There are blower trucks in the 11's and soon 10's.
They are remarkable vehicles...I'd definitely own one over a 1998-02 fbody. They are fast and they are way more useful...you can't take your family (comfortably) on a vacation, while towing a boat in a f-body, nor is an f-body very useful come winter time. Not to mention, they are a limited production vehicle, so one of these days, they will probably be worth $$.
It will looked awful good parked next to my 2010 2SS/RS here in a few months!
