Not the point.

Point IS....just appreciate that the Japs can build a badass car that will own the shyte out of a Z06, and quit talking so much crap.

It's like taboo to American diehards to admit anything is better than a Vette or Camaro.

and Corvette owners are the BIGGEST babies.
None of us are saying that it isn't a good car, but as far as 'owning a corvette', we just don't think the numbers are possible. A stock Z06 will run about 12 s and around 120 mph, with some stories putting the number as low as 11.8 and up to 12.3s. Anyway, it has a better power to weight ratio than the top spec GT-R (530 hp, ~3600 lbs). So it may be possible that the GT-R had 11.7 @ 119 mph but not 149. And this car costs 25% more than the Z06. However, this doesn't sound like something that will "own the shyte out of a Z06" which I beating them by sooo much that they are ashamed to think of their car as a performance vehicle. Beat it? possibly with equally good drivers. By a significant margin? no.

And a better comparison would be between the ZR-1 and the top GT-R (whatever they call it). The prices would be within less than 10%
