Makes you wonder if those were customer cars or owned by the speed shop? I know of a car dealer that got raided by feds several years ago, and every vehicle on the property was seized no matter who owned it.
Later there was an article in the paper about some of the people going through a nightmare process in the courts trying to get their cars back.
