This is the first I've ever heard of a Mustang with tranny problems. Mine works perfectly. Sounds like you were unlucky and got a bad one. A few people have had similar nightmares with the Camaro's Tremec as well, but the vast majority of them are fine. (Though I do wish they were sourced from America. Both cars have foreign built transmissions).
