So, I come home today from the car wash to find a neighbor I've never met before outside with a brand spanking new 2011 Challenger SRT8. Told him how I just noticed some yellow paint specks on the side of my car (must've run over some wet lines in the road at some point) and he went and got me a clay bar to see if it'd take the paint off, which it did. So, mentioned that he needed to take me out in his new car....especially since this new one is 470hp and slightly quicker than the SS. He claimed 4.1 0-60 and I read online it's more like 4.5, maybe 4.4. But, we went out on some back roads and the thing definitely felt faster than my stock SS. His uncle apparently also has an SS and we're gonna do a shoot sometime in the near future. But, after the old Challenger fell on it's face (4.8 0-60 and more expensive than our SS) I thought they did a nice job with this one. His is also the limited edition, but it doesn't add any extra performance. It basically includes the stripes and a badge on the dash. Overall, the guy was a really cool dude. And, that is one nice car. Just thought I'd share.
