I was looking into them and while the numbers suggest that it will compete with a corvette Z06, a closer look reveals that the Chevy is still a better buy for a performance car, even if they both carry a 70k price tag.

480 hp 3.8L turbocharged V6 vs 505 hp 7.0L NA V8
430 ft lbs vs 470 ft lbs
3850 lbs vs 3150 lbs
$70 000 vs $70 000
Handling characteristics unknown, but the vette can pull nearly 1G on the skidpad
