Then I can only assume that Tremec went with the standard 620ft lbs of torque rated at 4000lbs vehicle weight (4000 is a generic weight Tremec's rate Corvette transmissions at because they are so light). If team Camaro was to pursue the rumored 620hp GT500 then it is absolutely imperative that the ZL1 be 4000lbs or less if the LSA was increased to that figure or the LS9 was tabled to option.

The MG9 currently isn't factory capable of producing numbers north of 560 unless the ZL1 was to weigh considerably less than 4255lbs (I figure 4105lbs). Traction would have to be figured in as well but I think at that weight (4105lbs), the torque could reach 560-570 and still be safely used and warrantied from Tremec... unless they are d!cks about it. Lose another 105lbs...
