body pannel goop glue, stuff beween hood skin and skelton

Im guessing that was done factory so not to need to have spot weld makrs all over the hood skin?

Still made n sold or is there a knock off I can get local???

Seem to have come lose on my 80 Buick and the hood skin wants to flex / bend as the skelton isn't supporting it right as allot of them blobs of stuff are boke lose. And with it lose, neither hood skin or skelton are stiff anymore.
Like takin the ends off a I beam just an i now and its flimsy.
