Next time that little shit ought to think twice before picking on somebody bigger than himself...the good news is, there probably aren't any kids smaller than him, so bullying = done.
Bullying is a bigger problem than it used to be. I don't know how or why - but kids are NASTY today...you can pick any one thing to blame it on, but like everything there's a lot of reasons. Bottom line is it's bad. On top of what you see here, you've got facebook bullies, and emotional bullies...as I said, kids can be, and are...nasty.
As a teacher -- we need to report everything...including what the big fella did. It's then up to administration to divvy up the punishment. That said -- I've yet to encounter any bullying in my classes, or in the hallway outside my room. God help the first bully I see pulling any crap.
