Simply put, my feelings are that, especially in this economy, I don't want to here a bunch of babies whine that millions a year isn't enough money to play a freaking game. I don't care how much the owners make, the Players make more than enough as it is, so who cares. I don't care if they are sacrifing their bodies, the ones that play that much make enough in a year to retire on comfortably the rest of their life. Besides, no one is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to play; if they don't like it, they can go get a different job.
I love football, but I think I'm done. I have better things to do on a Sunday than watch these spoiled brats throw a ball around. I also think the next few years will be interesting, as I suspect more people are going to feel like me and stop watching altogether, especially if there are any missed games due to a strike. Heck, the bucs were blacked out all last season because they couldn't sell enough tickets. If there's a strike, they may really go down.
Basically, if the played don't quit their whining, this may be the beginning of an end for NFL as we know it, and in a few years the players may be wishing they had their pre '11 salaries back!
