They started offering a 5.3L V8 putting out 300hp and 320 lb-ft of torque in the Colorado in 2009.
The I5 was interesting, but I was skeptical of it. Hope they switch the next gen to having the option of a V6 or a V8, and maybe throwing a turbo diesel in the mix as well
