called the local shop that services it from time to time and they will take care of it for like 150.. see if I need to upgrade the ram at all, put in a new hd and make sure its all smooth so I dont have much downtime on the business. They are open on Sunday so I can drop it off then amd pick it up and be back up Monday night. Going to do this next weekend I think..

If it's an upgrade disk it will keep all your original files. Clean install though may erase everything, either way I'd definitely back everything up on an external drive, just in case.
