Who's the ricer, the person that cares more about looks than performance, or the person that cares more about performance than looks? The STi appeals to me because I can run high 11s in my sedan that grips better than a 911 and in the same trim I can drive it through the loveland pass in 5" of snow with 4 people inside and 4 snowboards on the roof. It's the same for many evo drivers. You let me know when your camaro can do that. Sure, I have an ugly ass spoiler on the back until I can find an rs owner with a blue trunk to swap me, but it grips and stops like crazy, is damn quick in a straight line and I'm never worried about driving conditions or having enough space for people or junk. That's what the evo and sti are THE BEST for and it's sad that one of them is disappearing for good.
As far as the posers comment. . . I can absolutely guarantee you that a higher percentage of sti and evo owners do real, sanctioned racing and modifications than the percentage of camaro owners. What specifically makes an evo or sti owner a poser? Most are dedicated performance enthusiasts looking for a DD that can also be their track car.
