But if you bought from the manufacturer, you would be paying MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) and not getting discounts from dealers. For all of you who hate dealers, you need to realize how lucky we are that they give discounts at all. If all of the dealers just one day decided to only sell vehicles at MSRP, that's what you'd have to pay for every vehicle you ever bought. Having dealers breeds competition, which in turn saves us money.
The only dealers I refuse to buy from are the large corporations (autonation, etc). I prefer to give my business to the "little" guys. I like it when people remember my name when I walk through the door.
Some of you people are so brainwashed into thinking dealers are evil you can't even begin to look at how they actually help people at times. Yea, they may make some money here and there, but who doesn't? Even non-profit organizations make some sort of overhead, other wise they wouldn't have employees.
