He didn’t care, I told him he NEVER stipulated a date by when I had to take off my tints and I told him its not like I love driving around with a disgusting fugly tear in the driver side tint that he created last time.

I do not know about Canadian law, but I can tell you this..
If you get an infraction, you have reasonable amount of time, per law, to correct, and to schedule a court date to show that the tint has been rectified.
If you get another ticket within and before your scheduled court date, this is called double jeopardy per se. This double jeopardy, in traffic cases, can only be permitted IF you do not have on hand, the copy of the original ticket issued to you. This is VALID in any jurisdiction. Say you get a ticket in a town 400 miles away. If you have the infraction copy, the officer CAN NOT write you another ticket.
You can argue that the officer is harassing you. And to me is a very valid defense. The officer, barring any Canadian law or provision is WRONG. The same officer CAN NOT write the same infraction 2 days later for the same waivable or correctable offense. Again, not Canadian law schooled, but I believe should be the same for equipment violations.
I have been with the Detroit Police Department for 18 years. I am very, very fair and civil when it comes to traffic citations. You have to be a complete moron to get a ticket from me. Besides, we are the murder capital...Have bigger fish to fry.
