What I've hear and read is that the current POS 4.0 in the Mustang will be replaced next year with the D35 (NA version of the TT V6 in question) and that the GT will come with your choice of the TT 3.5 V6 or a V8 both making about 400hp.
I assume that Ford will discontinue one of the GT engines after watching take rates, reliability, legislation and costs for a couple years.
