Wow, I guess this reveals the true character of some of the people here on this forum. I own a Hyundai Tiburon, I'm not too keen on the new Genesis Coupe and personally don't care what people think about it nor does it matter to me, if it did I wouldn't have bought a Hyundai in the first place. For the almost five years I've had my car the only thing that ever needed replacing was the stock radio which was immediately replaced under warranty, since then it's been the most reliable car I've ever owned- and I've owned Buick's, Fords, and Volkswagens with all of them having more than their share of serious issues before I had to part with them.
It doesn't surprise me how gung-ho some of you are about chevy's, which is fine, but when I came to these boards I actually believed at first that this was a more mature and evolved group of people, this thread seems to prove otherwise. In the tiburon forums they may be a younger demographic, but on the whole they are a lot more respectful towards other car owners and openly discuss other models without any emotional outbursts or feelings of inadequacy towards other cars. They will openly admit their car is not a fast car by any conventional standards but also appreciate them in the same way you all appreciate your own cars, whether they're Chevy or not.
Age is no indicator of maturity apparently, and a lot of people here reflect an attitude that seems extremely ignorant and even show contempt towards anything that falls outside their comfortable range of Chevy cars/trucks. Yes, it's a camaro forum and that's what primarily be discussed, but to attack people for trying to stimulate conversation on other cars shouldn't illicit the amount of immaturity and types of 'traitor' comments the OP's received over this thread.
