$7.15 is probably pretty close to what people pay for morning coffee at Starbucks or what the buy in fast food. Simple solution; buy a 12 pack of pop and drink one before work and bag your own lunch. Look its magic, we have a total offset of the in increase of gas price. Who knows in this hypothetical situation gas may go back down and you could be pocketing the $7.15 everyday.
