Its depressing seeing people my age still working cashier lines at Wal-Mart or at the gas station when I know they have kids to pay for. It makes me question what these people have done to advance themselves in life, the answer is usually nothing. Very few people my age prepare for the future anymore. They always expect things will fall in their lap and others will pay their way. So its no wonder when so many of these people start to panic about gas prices increase, they should've done something in advance about it like sticking to a career path.

Kind of going down a long winding path here, but the parents of these young kids that don't care are the ones at fault, IMO. For not preparing their kids for their future. Not enough discipline.
