I honestly don't see that much complaining, but I do see concern (thankfully)
My response to the OP was not one of disagreement - I'll buy gas and drive the car everyday because I not only have to, but WANT to. I also have the means to, but that is not relavent to the conversation at all.
My response was a concern for the general indifference that the younger people now have. How can you not even care enough to pay attention to what things cost around you, be it gas, food, services, or anything?
It's the general incaring attitudes that keep sinking us deeper and deeper into the abyss. We can't fix the problems plaguing todays society if we simply don't give a crap. Turning a blind eye to it will not make it go away.
