We all grew up being taught that you deserve 2.5 kids, a 4-year education, a spouse, a house and garage full of cars. The problem is people aren't willing to go as far as they used to maintain this kind of stuff and bottom line its getting much harder to obtain at all. In my case I had to make a lot of personal sacrafices in my almost 30 years life to be successful to this point, having a family is one of them. I can't imagine how much difficult things would've have been if I had a marriage to maintain, children I had to save tuition money for and not to mention a mortgage on top of it all. It may not be for you or the next guy but in my case I've made something of it and I've enjoyed my life being obligated to nobody but me and the dog.
