This morning I was woken up by some men re-landscaping the flower bed right outside my bedroom window. Apparently, they dropped a wheelbarrow full of rocks on the sidewalk!
It would have been nice to know there would be work going on...
Another time I woke up when I heard the toilet flush and the tank refilled. I live alone, so I don't know how it happened...
