LOL, Done is a relative term. They are putting the trusses on today, shingles on tomorrow and we will side it Saturday.( If it doesn't Rain
) but by tomorrow it will be in the dry.
Once I get it dry I can work on it at my pace and kinda lay it out on the inside like I want. It is 30 feet deep and 42 wide. It has 3 doors 2 - 10' wide by 8' high garage doors and 1- 16' wide and 8' high garage door in the middle.
I pourded the floor 6 inches thick so that I could put a lift in it, I am still trying to decide which kind to get a 4 post or 2 post lift. The walls are 12 feet tall so I should have plenty of room for the lift no matter which type I decide.
I plan on putting some cabinets in it to hold my Adam's detailing items, and my tools. I also am planning on painting the floor with an expoxy paint but I have to wait at least 28 days for the concrete to kinda cure so the paint will adhere.
Once I kinda figure out where everything will go I will wire it, insulate it, sheetrock it, paint it and then I have some things that I am going to be placing on the walls to kinda make it my own.
When Kelley's Uncle passed he was a big racing fan and he had some racing hoods that he had collected over the years. I think 4 or 5, that I am going to clean up an hang on the walls, plus I have some things I want to hang up mostly Chevrolet stuff since I am a Bowtie nut
I will still have to dress up and the final grade work and eventually pour the driveway to the road and as best I can tell it will take about 60 yrds of concrete to finish that, so I still have a couple of months to be really "Finished" but it is coming along quickly and my main goal now is to have a place to put my boat, Dr Jkel and Mr Hide when they come home that I can lock up and not have to worry about or post guards
