Thanks man, yeah it ain't right.. Our Prime Minister has been in the same position for over 40 years. People have suffered from grosse discrimination socially because of their sect. But the issue at hand is not sectarian it has become a matter of humanity. People are peacefully protesting for more rights, (right to a fair trial, employment, better education, primarily a voice). Human rights activists have recently been prosecuted as 'terrorists' for 'opposing the Government' for being critical, for blogging, it is a penal offence to criticize our ruler. Anyway, thousands of people gathered peacefully at our capital yesterday - young, old, women, children too ! some decided to sleep there overnight (pearl roundabout in Bahrain Manama) and were suddenly ambushed by thousands of riot police, people were shot, hundreds injured, over 6 people have died some being children. A doctor was killed at the scene for helping the victims. The Riot police entered the hospitals and tried to prevent medical assistance. The situation has got out of control, the riot police are using excessive force. emphasis on excessive. One doctor was handcuffed and beaten to death, and before that was threatened of rape. (male doctor) I just cannot believe this is happening in the smallest country in the world. We are meant to be a civilised nation, the people are, the authorities (mostly naturualised Bahraini's not actually Bahraini's - naturalisation in return for loyalty) are being inhumane
