IMO, chevy caught themselves before it was too late. Z28 IS the boss competitor. name the shelby competitor anything you want, but not Z28.
chevrolet knows they need a light weight track car version asap. im betting they are working on it now. and im betting it will be called Z28.
it might be 2 years away though.
this isnt a new thing. 65mustang.....two years later 67 camaro. ford has just decided to get on the ball.
