Yep, I just checked, most features (vehicle status updates, 911 assist) except navigation are free. Navigation is free for 3 years and will cost $60/yr thereafter. MUCH cheaper than onStar. If they want to compete, they should lower their price.

As I have said before, I'd be willing to pay $5/mo for OnStar, looks like Ford's price is much more in line with that. Too bad the Mustang is ugly

I hate to say it, but I never really looked into Sync before, but damn, that's a tempting lure. 911 assist for free... (grant it, if your cell phone breaks when you crash, you're SOL)
