funny story  ...I, too went with a friend. He really disliked everything GM...the minute he saw (and learned) about the Camaro, he just said "This is it". The only compliments he was willing to give the Nissan when we were in it, was that he liked the reclined seating position, and the push-button start....

well to be honest I'm surprised you didn't like it, i think your the first person Ive talked to who actually sat in the car and still retains 0 interest. However, i guess its just personal preference. I come from a mixed background... My dad had Corvette's and Z's growing up.
I come from a 350z myself, so i guess i can see and appreciate everything that was done to the car. But as greatly as the materials and quality was improved, the driving experience is supposed to be the real clincher with this car.
