One time I had an bill from a local automated toll highway and I accidentally paid the wrong amount by a few cents, like $20.34 instead of $20.43. They kept mailing me bills for those 9 cents (or whatever it was). At one point, I thought about mailing them a dime and include a note asking for change but I thought better of it when I remembered that the stamp would cost more than the bill, so I paid the rest online ... eventually.
