When you were a kid, you put on a helmet, tell me you weren't doing some stupid fun stuff!!

Times have changed boys....
Haha! Exactly! Good to know I wasn't the only one who was a million times more likely to crack my head on something if I had pads.

I also saw all the stuff about playground equipment earlier in the thread and thought of a playground I used to go to when I was a kid that had all the things ya'll were talking about (sea-saws, metal slides, etc.) and all kinds of other old school stuff. Even had this one sort of odd type of metal swing with a lap bar, back support, and like a lever system that made you go stupid high. I was thinking it was probably still there and checked on google street view. Apparently its gone. Gotta admit I kinda died a little inside. I'm only 20 so I guess it must have been sorta that last of a breed.

I can remember lining up coffee cans or better yet water balloons and shooting at them with a bb gun in my yard. Nobody ever freaked out. An acquaintance of mine, on the other hand, had the police called on him a couple months back when he was cleaning an air soft gun on his porch. WTF! I don't care if its real or airsoft, he can clean a gun wherever he damn well pleases unless it specifies no weapons like a school ground or something.
