They're not big enough globally to make the major press releases. For 2010, Toyota was #1 followed by GM and VW. Ford and Hyundai/Kia are in 4th and 5th (though its not clear who sold more just yet). So at best, Honda is the 6th biggest automaker in the world but there are a number of other automakers that could also hold that title as well.
