Two reasons. First, there is a $7,500 tax credit on the Volt so the purchase price would then be $32,500............or so for more options.
Second, and a more likely reason to buy, is the $350 per month lease payment GM is offering. Considering the equipment and the EV range, this is a verrrry good deal.
